Being a cadet, I am physically fit passing my APFT with an average of 260 for the entire school year. I am 60.5 inches tall and 115 pounds. I am two classes away from completing my Master's in Business Administration and will continue my education with a Ph.D. degree. I have had training for year and a half in ROTC Program and have attended Accelerated Cadet Commissioning Training (ACCT) during last summer. The ACCT program prepares cadets, such as myself, for entry into the Army ROTC Advanced Course phase of the program and I am familiar with the subject matter that would be addressed at Basic Camp. I have served as a reserve (at cadet standing) at the Admiral Baker Unit (4211th) in San Diego for a year according to the SMP program offered to me.
I am wondering if the powers at be at the National Guard could waiver the Basic Course Training requirement considering I have had ROTC training for almost 2 years. I would like to start the program come January.
Thank you in advance for your response.
Very Truly Yours,
H. Lorax
